“Présence française à Ottawa depuis plus de 150 ans” (plaque put up on the Institut canadien-français d’Ottawa building at the corner of Dalhousie and George)
 
This plaque was put up in 2005 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the adoption of Ottawa as the new name of Bytown. It was sponsored by the Samuel-de-Champlain branch of the Société franco-ontarienne d’histoire et de généalogie, in cooperation with the following: Festival franco-ontarien, Institut canadien-français d’Ottawa, Le Droit and Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario.
